Essential to Bellevue University’s commitment to serving adult learners is acceptance of prior learning that students bring. Bellevue University considers many forms of previously earned college credit for transfer into its degree programs, including associate degrees, previous college classes, military and corporate training, and for-credit exams like CLEP and DSST. This helps accelerate completion, while keeping it affordable.
Graduate students have a plethora of options from which to choose, including master's degrees in accounting, nutrition, electrical and computer engineering, business administration, optical sciences, and photonic communications engineering. The school has one of the nation's top nursing programs; among offerings is the online 44-credit RN to MS, an accelerated degree with a focus on clinical systems leadership. Nurses can elect to take the program full-time or part-time.

Murray State University has made a point to be an inclusive institution where all people are able to learn. However, not everyone is able to commute to campus for classes, whether it be because of a job, family or location. To help with this, Murray State offers many of their degrees through their online school. Students can study for degrees at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels online, making Murray State one of the best online schools for students at any point in their education. Each of their graduate degrees is designed to help give their students a deeper knowledge of their field to help them advance in their career. Similarly, the undergrad programs at Murray State give students practical knowledge they need to begin a career. Popular options through their online school include RN to BSN, computer information systems and business administration.
Drexel Online features two web-based options for undergraduate nursing students: a B.S. in health services administration, and an RN to BSN pathway reserved for students who are already registered nurses. The latter program supplements onsite clinical courses with an innovative Health Assessment Simulation Lab, which allows students to interact with virtual patients and diagnose different medical conditions. The B.S. in general studies also includes a customizable 'individual studies' plan, and a bachelor's in general studies track with a business minor. Additionally, fully online bachelor's degrees are available in five core academic areas of study: business administration; communications; criminal justice; psychology; and computing and security technology. A blended bachelor's of education degree with student-teaching components is also offered. Most of Drexel Online's bachelor's degree programs are roughly 180 credits in length; since the school operates on a quarter schedule, this means students can generally complete all degree requirements after four years of full-time study.
Opportunities for online grad students at eNSU are even more extensive -- 20 degree programs in all. Fourteen of these options are concentrated in education studies. Three master's tracks for teachers feature multiple specializations: adult learning and development; curriculum and instruction; and special education. Additional education master's programs include seven grade-specific specializations, as well as degrees in student affairs in higher education, early childhood education and educational leadership. Nursing students may choose from five different MSN concentrations; master's degrees are also available in health and human performance (with a health promotion concentration) and radiologic science.
Online associate, bachelor’s, and graduate degrees are available from colleges and universities nationwide. These programs follow the same curriculum as their brick-and-mortar counterparts, ensuring a rigorous learning experience and job opportunities for graduates in their chosen field. However, web-based learning has certain advantages over on-campus programs. Most online programs offer a flexible schedule for completing assignments, and students rarely – if ever – need to visit their school’s campus. In many cases, earning a degree online is also cheaper.
Examples of digital media include software, digital images, digital video, video games, web pages and websites, including social media, data and databases, digital audio, such as MP3 and electronic books. Digital media often contrasts with print media, such as printed books, newspapers and magazines, and other traditional or analog media, such as images, movies or audio tapes. Digital media has a significant broad and complex impact on society and culture. Combined with the Internet and personal computing, digital media has caused disruptive innovation in publishing, journalism, public relations, entertainment, education, commerce and politics. Digital media has also posed new challenges to copyright and intellectual property laws, fostering an open content movement in which content creators voluntarily give up some or all of their legal rights to their work. The ubiquity of digital media and its effects on society suggest that we are at the start of a new era in industrial history, called the Information Age, perhaps leading to a paperless society in which all media are produced and consumed on computers. However, challenges to a digital transition remain, including outdated copyright laws, censorship, the digital divide, and the spectre of a digital dark age, in which older media becomes inaccessible to new or upgraded information systems. Digital media has a significant, wide-ranging and complex impact on society and culture.
